Family Fun Time!

Our family had a blast using the tennis court and basketball hoop at the resort. It was great to see the kids so engaged in sports! The well-maintained facilities added to our experience. We loved playing games and bonding as a family. The availability of bikes for riding around was a pleasant surprise too! We're already thinking of our next visit to enjoy these amenities again.

Kid-Friendly Activities

My kids loved the swing set and playground area shaded from the sun. It was a perfect place for them to burn off some energy while making new friends. The whole resort was very family-oriented, making it easy for the kids to enjoy themselves while we relaxed nearby. We can't wait to come back and let them play again!

Comfortable and Cozy

I stayed in the Carla Cottage, and it was one of the cleanest places I've ever rented! The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. I especially loved the huge, comfy couch in the living room and the lovely beds in the bedrooms. It felt like a true home away from home. The screened-in porch had a fantastic view of the lake, perfect for evening relaxation.

Spotless Bathrooms

I was really impressed with how clean and well-maintained the bathrooms were during my stay. It's hard to find vacation rentals that prioritize cleanliness, but this one did! The Shallows Resort offers a breathtaking location right on the water, perfect for watching sunsets and enjoying outdoor activities. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, although my experience with neighbors smoking nearby was unpleasant. While the amenities like the pool and hot tub were not available during my stay, the resort's overall ambiance and access to nature make it a lovely choice for a getaway. However, the lack of responsiveness regarding smoking issues detracted from the experience.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bluffside at the Shallows Resort! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with beautiful trees and wildlife providing a tranquil atmosphere. The facilities were in excellent condition, making our experience relaxing. Although we loved our time there, I would recommend checking in early to ensure you can secure popular amenities, as there can be a rush during peak times.

I had a wonderful time at this resort! The views were stunning, especially the sunsets over the bay. The rooms are spacious and well laid out, which made my stay comfortable. I truly appreciated the complimentary bikes and kayaks, perfect for exploring the nearby beach and wineries. However, my experience was slightly tainted by an unfortunate customer service incident that occurred during booking. Overall, it’s a lovely getaway spot with so much to offer, but a bit of attention to customer service would go a long way.
